About Random Sound Paramedicine
Random Sound Paramedicine was established in 2019. The Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) program is aligned with the National Occupational Competency Profiles (NOCP) of the Paramedic Association of Canada. Our PCP program has been approved by the respective provincial authorities in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Our profile/ curriculum have been developed and are copyrighted by Medavie Health ED based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Medavie Health Ed has granted permission for its use (under contract) to Random Sound Paramedicine. The content of the curriculum has been changed only to reflect the policies of Random Sound Paramedicine. These policies are required to meet the requisites of The Provincial Medical Oversight and the Department of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour for Newfoundland and Labrador. The Medavie Health Education curriculum has been approved for use by provincial regulators in the Provinces of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick and has been accredited by the Canadian Medical Association.
Random Sound Paramedicine strives for excellence to provide exceptional education to our Primary Care Paramedic students. Our program is accountable to deliver a high quality and professional Primary Care Paramedic and is delivered through our campus located in Clarenville, Newfoundland and Labrador.
